Year 3, Episode 35

"From every mountainside, let freedom ring. And when this happens, when we allow freedom to ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual: Free at last! Free at last! Thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

"What would have happened to Thomas Jefferson if he had responded as he wrote in 1781: 'It does me no injury for my neighbor to say that there are 20 gods, or no God. It neither picks my pocket nor breaks my leg.'... By today's new standard of pulpits in the public square, Jefferson—the great advocate for religious freedom in America—would have lost."

Year 3, Episode 26

"Religion has actually convinced people that there's an invisible man living in the sky who watches everything you do, every minute of every day. And the invisible man has a special list of ten things he does not want you to do. And if you do any of these ten things, he has a special place, full of fire and smoke and burning and torture and anguish, where he will send you to live and suffer and burn and choke and scream and cry forever and ever 'til the end of time! But He loves you. He loves you, and He needs money! He always needs money! He's all-powerful, all-perfect, all-knowing, and all-wise, somehow just can't handle money!"~ George Carlin

This documentary focuses on one of the causes of global poverty - the exploitation of cash crop producers in less developed nations, specifically coffee farmers. It chronicles the struggle of the manager of an Ethiopian coffee cooperative on a mission to get a fair price for his product and save his 74,000 struggling coffee farmers from bankruptcy.
